Whatever I wanted to express in previous article is all in this article.
October 30 Liverpool: We Stick Together At Anfield Its been a while since I last wrote or blog about Liverpool or football for that matter.
Looking back, I wrote a lot during the Gerrard Houllier era, successful yet depressing times.
Well, how Rafa has turned it around since then.
One champions league.
Another Champions League Final appearance.
Supercup. Charity Shield. FA cup.
Our closest 2nd place finishing to No.1.
With results come expectations and hope.
Looking back, in reality, our playing staff should never have won any of those above mentioned honours, nor should we ever stay close to No.1 last season.
Every season, pundits, critics and so called experts, have something to say against our team.
Players not good enough, not fast enough, not good enough, naive in Zonal Marking, we don't start the season well enough, we don't end the season on a strong, we can't beat the TOP 4 teams, we keep losing and drawing against so called smaller teams etc etc.
The players that they bashed not good enough e.g. Benayoun, Alonso are suddenly the missing link.
Please research the FACTS before making comments based on common perceptions.
I am a RAFA supporter. For what its worth, at least he got RESULTS and he stuck by his principles.
I am not saying he doesn't make mistakes. Decisions are made and he stuck by them.
Keane wasn't a bad player, nor is Babel or Dossena. They just don't fit into Rafa's system of playing.
Its just like one putting Mokoena or whoever into the Arsenal team. Wenger has his own vision of how football should be played.
Come to think of it, what happened to those who wanted Arsene Wenger out last season?
Just because we have lost a few games in a row, you start calling for heads and asking for bloods.
The same players we have last season that was so close being champions are now championship material.
We at Anfield don't do that,. It doesn't mean I am blind, I am hurt and as longing for a championship as you all.
But in the world of information overload, we need to balance the idealism and pragmatism.
As our own King says, "We at Anfield stick together".

October 21 Whiteout And you wonder why it took so long to release this movie.
My first thought after the movie, is this worse than "Forbidden Kingdom"?
I would say NO because Forbidden Kingdom was not only bad to watch, but it hit me in my value and cultural aspect.
So, I would say Whiteout is on par with Street Fighter: Chun Li.
If it weren't for Kate Beckinsale or in the latter case Kristin Kreuk, this movie would totally bombed on me.
My focus throughout the movie was solely on Kate Beckinsale and NOTHING else.
So forget about the
I will give this a 1 dun even bother.

July 20 Transformers 2: Revenge of the Fallen In Transformer first instalment we were left stunned by the amazing effects, enchanted by megan fox and generally walk away happy they didn't ruin one of children's favourite cartoon. Now its part 2 and all bets are off. They need to come up with something better. Merely complicated 3D is not sufficient anymore and Megan fox cannot hold up a scene like she does in part 1.
So, what did they do?
Well, i can go on and on. Good or bad will depend on your perception.
Overall, I think this movie is packed 2 and half hour and FULL of entertainment value.
Unfortunately, I don't see it better than part 1 and hence giving it a 9.

I didn't know what to expect, after the disappointment of T3 and with James Cameron off the project.
McG as director more than held on its own.
Special praise must go to Simon Worthington as Marcus.
What's with the Aussie guys dominating the movies now?
Christian Bale as John Connor was way way better than Nick Stahl in T3.
Sidenote, they should have got Edward Furlong back as John in T3.
Just pay the guy what he wants already, damn it. With the timeline, we would see him in the right age.
As for the machines, wow. Why didn't they transport all the different types back in T1 and T2?
hahhah. i forgot. they could only transport 1.
Arnold even made a cameo appearance as Terminator T800, the first of many kinds, machines with live tissues and blood.

Complaint? Not much but only as the storyline as a whole.
I am not even talking about plotholes.
John and Sarah were supposed to fight and change the future. Remember "NO FATE"?
But after 1 big circle, it seems we are back to where we are.
If the machines kill John in the past, would they have been machines?
Didn't skynet invent the machine in the first place from the remnants of T800 in T1?
I am confused.........this is just a never ending loop. That's why i got so upset after T3.
Because for whatever they have done, they did not change anything.
T3 is the bloody start of the bloody loop.
And now we are talking about T5. It will come out in 2011.
Used to be like 10 years between each terminator movie.
Well, I guess i can always just watch T1 and T2 again for like the nth time.
I would have recommended 8 with buying collector edition dvd BOX SET of T1 to T4.
But now that they are going to produce T5 and the END to the story nowhere in sight, i shall downgrade it to 7.

If the numbers are smaller and closer, it really spells like my name.
Nice. June 03 Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian Lets say this before anything else.
I like part 1 Night at the Museum. It was fresh, it was funny and it was entertaining.
I had an original DVD.
This 2nd version hence came with a bit of expectation.
If not better, at least match the entertainment factor of part 1.
But it wasn't to be. Having the Smithsonian museum came alive just don't make it as "believable" as the Part 1.
How can you have Lincoln giant statue walking around without alarming ANYBODY?
This movie has also tried to squeezed in too many characters which muddle the interaction.
The characters central in Part 1 were also marginalised in this.
Mind you, there were still some very funny part.
Its Ben Stiller, for god sake.
Pharoah was good, other than that I didnt' take much out of the movie.
I will just give this movie a "Just download it".

So, i will just start off with what i liked about it.
Wolverine is buffed, real buffed! Hugh Jackman is just plain cool in this role.
The starting sequences were good. Highlighting its immortality through the ages.
Victor Creed aka Sabretooth. The nemesis & villain. Its always good when there is a main villain in the movie.
What i don't like in a shortlist?
They are trying to spin off and made more of a character of wolverine, but could not resist in inserting gambit, deadpool, blob and even cyclops (Again?) in the movie.
Aren't they supposed to pitch sabretooth vs wolverine? I felt like they are more friends than foe at the end. Worse, i thought in comics they weren't brother.
Actions scenes left a lot to be desired.
How wolverine become wolverine? The lab scene was way too short to my liking. And they were supposed to build up the character.
Overall, i would rate it "buy original DVD" but nothing more.

Empire Hotel aint no Burj Al Arab, but it sure has become an attraction itself of Brunei.
